These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.fraservalleycornhole.com and your participation in Fraser Valley Cornhole (“FVC,” “we,” “us”) membership, league nights, events, tournaments, and bookings. By using our website or taking part in our activities, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.
Accounts
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure.
- Accounts are for individual use. Don't share your sign-in or impersonate anyone else.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that are misused, or that breach these Terms or disrupt the club.
Membership & League Play
- League registration and scheduling are managed through our website and our scoring partner. Membership status is confirmed by a club organizer.
- Players are expected to show good sportsmanship, treat others with respect, and follow the rules of the game and the venue.
- We may update league formats, schedules, and fees; we'll communicate changes through the site or by email.
Event Bookings
- We offer event tournaments at a flat rate of $1,000 for up to 120 people, including gear and our crew to run the event, as described on our Book Us page.
- A booking request is not a confirmed booking. A date is only reserved once we confirm it with you by email.
- Payment is made by Interac e-Transfer to ryan@bccornhole.com. Invoices and receipts are issued by email.
- Cancellations, rescheduling, and special requirements are handled by contacting us directly. You are responsible for securing your venue and any permits or permissions required at your location.
Photos & Content You Provide
- When you upload a headshot or other content, you confirm you have the right to do so, and you grant us permission to display it within the club platform for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
- Don't upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that includes another person's information without their consent.
- We may take photos and video at club events for club and promotional use. If you'd prefer not to appear, let an organizer know or contact us.
Acceptable Use
- Don't use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm, disable, or impair it.
- Don't attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, other accounts, or our systems.
- Don't scrape, copy, or misuse content or data from the site.
Intellectual Property
The Fraser Valley Cornhole name, logo, website content, and design are owned by the club and may not be used without our permission, except as needed to use the site normally.
Assumption of Risk
Cornhole and related activities involve physical movement and inherent risks. You take part in our league and events voluntarily and at your own risk, and you're responsible for participating within your own physical abilities.
Disclaimers
Our website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fraser Valley Cornhole and its organizers and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in our activities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
